About The Position
Under the supervision of the Manager Biomed Engineering the Technician repairs and maintains all types of medical equipment to include ultrasound systems; assists medical/nursing staff in operation/use of equipment.
Requirements
- Associate Degree or equivalent experience required. Bachelor Degree preferred.
- 7 to 10 years experience as biomedical engineering tech.
- Current California State Drivers license.
- Must be 21 years of age or older; must have two (2) years of continuous driving experience in the state of California.
- If a license is suspended, the experience record begins from the time of license reinstatement; must have no major convictions (ie DUI/DWI, hit and run, driving w/suspended license, reckless driving, eluding police, open containers, exhibition of speed (racing), negligent driving); must have no more than one (1) moving citation in a three (3) year period; must have no more than one (1) at- fault accident in a three (3) year period.
- Accidents will be considered at- fault unless evidence is provided (ie police report and/or letter from insurance company) showing the incident as not at-fault.
