About The Position

Teach general courses in the approved discipline. Maintain familiarity with and adhere to college policies and procedures. Provide instruction and an effective learning environment to facilitate student acquisition of the specific learning outcomes identified in the syllabi of the assigned course. Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Science or Master’s degree with 18+ graduate hours in Science
• 1-3 years’ experience teaching required, experience teaching in higher education preferred
• Experience with Canvas preferred
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and advanced computing skills required

Responsibilities

• Preparing and delivering lectures
• Leading and moderating classroom discussions
• Administering and grading examinations
• Establish an environment that encourages student learning.
• Travel to satellite campus locations to teach classes
• Performs other related duties as directed
