Part-Time Instructor | Biology
About The Position
The Department of Biology invites applications for Part-Time Instructors for fall 2025, summer 2025, or spring 2026. Part-Time Instructors are hired on a semester-by-semester basis to teach courses delivered by the Department of Biology. This is a temporary position. The successful candidate is expected to teach introductory and advanced level courses delivered by the Department of Biology. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: teach face-to-face and/or online, attend training and/or review sessions. Additional duties will include, but are not limited to, academic advising, student organization support, participation in program development and assessment. The candidate will be expected to work cooperatively with faculty and staff in the department and university.
Requirements
- Candidates must have an MS or a PhD in Biology or related field at time of application.
Nice To Haves
- Candidates with teaching experience at the University or Community College level are preferred.
