About The Position
Minnesota State College Southeast seeks a Biology Instructor in our program, dedicated to excellence in teaching, who desires to become part of a creative, vibrant, student-centered learning community. The instructor may earn unlimited status upon completion of six successful probationary semesters.
Requirements
- Applicants must meet the minimum qualifications for the Minnesota State credential field of BIOLOGY
- Master's degree with a major in biology or Master's degree in any discipline/field with a minimum of 18 graduate semester credits (27 graduate quarter credits) in biology.

- Online teaching experience
- Ability to teach microbiology
- Community college teaching experience or K-12 teaching excellence

Responsibilities
- Deliver classroom, web-enhanced and/or online course instruction.
- Deliver courses using Open Educational Resources
- Participate in department and college curriculum development.
- Conduct classroom research and other assessment/evaluation activities.
- Mentor and advise students.
- Participate in committee assignments and college-wide initiatives.
- Participate in department accreditation and review.
- Engage in scholarly and other professional development activities.
- Advocate on behalf of students, program and college
- Collaboration in professional development activities.
