Slippery Rock University invites applications for a tenure track Assistant Professor in the Department of Biology beginning August 2026. The faculty member's primary teaching responsibilities will include Human Anatomy and Physiology I & II. This individual will also be required to teach other introductory and advanced biology majors courses and non-majors biology courses for our general education program as needed. Additional teaching responsibilities may include courses in the faculty member's area of specialization. Preference will be given for individuals who can teach any combination of the following courses: Zoology, Vertebrate Anatomy, Evolution, Microbiology, Biostatistics, Animal Physiology, Embryology, or Histology. The department expects faculty will continue engaging in scholarly growth and professional development related to the applicant's area of expertise.
