About The Position

The Discipline of Accounting at Commonwealth University of Pennsylvania invites applications for one (1) full-time tenure-track position at the Assistant Professor level in Accounting beginning in the Fall 2026 semester. The home campus for this position is Lock Haven with the expectation of serving a multi-campus University within the Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education. A national leader, Commonwealth University’s accounting program focuses on decision modeling, risk analysis and measurement, and reporting of financial information. Responsibilities

• Teaching accounting-related classes at the undergraduate/graduate level
• Advising
• Research
• Service activities
• Instructional delivery can occur through traditional, online, and alternative instructional methods on-campus or at off-site educational locations
• Advisement of student organizations is expected
• The successful candidate will need to complete distance education training programs as made available by the University within two years of hire for the purpose of teaching in a multi-campus environment with remote teaching needs
