The Biology Department accepts applications on an ongoing basis from individuals interested in assignments teaching part-time for the undergraduate biology program. The successful candidate will be expected to provide instruction in a full range of biology courses including, but not limited to: General Biology, Biochemistry & Environmental Biology or Microbiology and Human Anatomy/Physiology, and the associated laboratories. Requirements

• Adjunct faculty candidates must have a Master’s degree in Biology or related field from a regionally-accredited institution with at least one year experience as a teaching assistant at the collegiate-level (full course responsibility preferred).
• Doctorate Degree in Biology or related field from a regionally-accredited institution with at least one year experience as a teaching assistant at the collegiate-level (full course responsibility preferred).
• The Equivalent. Certain combinations of education, experience, and other accomplishments in the field may be judged as equal to the stated minimum qualifications for this position.

Nice To Haves

• Preference will be given to candidates who have prior teaching experience at the college or university level and who can furnish evidence of strong teaching.
