The Department of Biology is hiring two types of adjunct faculty to teach courses at the Roanoke site for our: 1. Medical Laboratory Science program: Foundations of Medical Laboratory Science (MLAB 401) and Medical Laboratory Science Operations (MLAB 411), or 2. Non-majors: Human Anatomy and Physiology I & II (BIOL 310/BIOL 311) or Microbiology (BIOL 334). Successful applicants will teach the lecture, clinical simulations, or lab components for their courses, all of which will be offered in-person. Instructional responsibilities include (but not limited to) preparing and delivering course content, assessing student learning, holding office hours, and contributing to a rigorous learning environment that focuses on student academic success. The Department of Biology supports and encourages our adjunct faculty to engage in ongoing professional development through their participation in programs, trainings, or seminars offered by Radford’s Center for Innovative Teaching and Learning and by other organizations at Radford University. Adjunct faculty are also highly encouraged to participate in departmental, college, and university events.
