About The Position

Primary tasks include cell culture and molecular biology responsibilities to support various virology functions Secondary tasks consist of general housekeeping activities including general lab cleanliness, maintaining lab stock, emptying waste bins, etc.

Requirements

Cell culture, virology, and/or molecular biology background
Strong computer, scientific, and organizational skills
Excellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detail
Familiarity with Microsoft Office software (Excel)
Familiarity with electronic notebook systems
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude
Ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies
Bachelor's degree in Science or other related degree concentration, or equivalent directly-related experience (two years of directly related industry experience is equivalent to one full-time year of college in a related major)
Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship

Nice To Haves

Familiarity with working with larger equipment sets and pressurized systems is preferred
