Job Summary: Conduct purification and analytical testing using advanced instrumentation, while supporting lab operations, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in life science concentration (chemistry, biology, or related fields) and more than 2 years of directly related industry experience or a MS/PhD degree in a life science concentration (chemistry, biology, or related fields) and up to 2 years of directly related industry experience.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. indefinitely without restriction or a need for sponsorship.
  • Strong computer, scientific, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools; experience with data analysis preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with internal and external clients.
  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and detail-oriented with a positive attitude.
  • Proven ability to learn new techniques, follow instructions, and maintain accurate records.
  • Strong commitment to quality, teamwork, and productivity.

  • Protein purification
  • Buffer preparation & formulation
  • Column packing
  • HPLC, SEC or ProA
  • Tangential Flow Filtration (TFF)
  • Sample management (aliquot preparation)
  • Swapping column/mobile phases on LCMS-maintain mobile phases
  • Maurice sample prep
  • LCMS sample prep-deglycosylation/digestion
  • Lab maintenance: Freezer/fridge inventory, sample disposal, equipment prep for maintenance, equipment cleaning and storage (HPLC, AKTA), buffer ordering and inventory, lab waste management
