Manage and develop a team of scientists to perform analytical testing of samples to support development of large molecule therapeutics. Plan and coordinate staff training to ensure performance excellence. Manage testing and logistics support of therapeutic programs, e.g. robustness, Method Development, and other studies. Perform CEX, cIEF, CE, HPLC, and other techniques as required by the scope of the therapeutic programs and team workload. Manage laboratory support and fractionation to support extended characterization. Manage and coordinate the sampling, testing, and first level data review. Communicate with client contacts frequently to ensure understanding of deliverables and satisfaction. Ensure timely response to client and internal communications (e.g. emails and meetings). Take ownership of timely results delivery for the team, through work planning, delegation, and performance management. Ensure completion of administrative duties, e.g. timecards, performance review, and HR tasks. Experience in ELN records entry and workflow. Good organizational skills highly preferred. Support laboratory equipment maintenance and management, and other areas of the analytical development group as necessary.
