  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field
  • BS: 2–4 years | MS: 0–2 years of relevant laboratory experience
  • Hands‑on experience with HPLC/UPLC methods (SEC, HIC, RP) and Octet required
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established procedures
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and analytical data processing software
  • Ability to learn new techniques, multitask, and maintain detailed records
  • Strong critical thinking, troubleshooting, and problem‑solving abilities
  • Self‑motivated, collaborative, adaptable, and positive team contributor
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship

Responsibilities

  • Perform analytical testing to characterize proteins and support bioprocess and product development activities
  • Apply a broad range of protein analytical techniques, including separation, chromatographic, spectroscopic, and binding assays
  • Utilize UPLC/HPLC (SEC, HIC, IEX, RP, affinity) and Octet for in‑process and product characterization
  • Conduct SDS-PAGE, ELISA, and other biochemical assays; experience with small‑scale protein purification is a plus
  • Use Empower and/or ChemStation for instrument control and data processing (strongly preferred)
  • Interpret results, assess data quality, and provide clear documentation to project teams
  • Maintain accurate electronic lab notebook records in accordance with Good Laboratory Practices
  • Lead routine calibration, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of laboratory instrumentation
  • Collaborate closely with colleagues to deliver high‑quality analytical support within expected timelines
