Freshly Printed: The Role You've Been Looking For Work just 3 days a week on a 12-hour rotating schedule while earning an additional $2/hour shift differential! As a Bindery Operator, you serve as a key leader in our finishing operations, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to quality standards. You are responsible for setting up, operating, and overseeing equipment such as cutters, pocket feeders, perfect binders, coilers/tabbers, and saddle stitchers based on job specifications. In this role, you take ownership of production flow, proactively addressing issues, maintaining equipment performance, and supporting team success. From Setup to Finish: Your Role in the Process Set up and operate bindery equipment according to job specifications Stitch, punch, coil, cut, glue, laminate, mount, and grommet materials Follow job tickets and written instructions to meet customer requirements Perform routine cleaning, basic preventative maintenance, and troubleshooting Enter time and material data into production tracking systems Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to meet deadlines Follow standard work practices and maintain a safe work environment The Fine Print: What You Need to Succeed Prior bindery machine operation or comparable experience preferred Must be quality-minded and pay attention to detail Must be able to read and understand job tickets and production instructions Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills Strong attendance, work ethic, and reliability Willingness to work overtime when necessary Must be at least 18 years of age to operate equipment Basic computer skills for data entry and job tracking Ability to lift at least 50 lbs and perform pulling, pushing, reaching, stooping, and standing activities for the entirety of the shift Your Production Schedule Day Shift- 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM 12-hour rotating schedule: Monday - Wednesday; Thursday - Saturday Overtime available All the Good Stuff: Your Benefits Company 401(k) Plan with Employer Match Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance Health Savings Account (HSA) & Flexible Spending Account (FSA) Voluntary Benefits: Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, and Life Insurance Paid Time Off (PTO) 9 Paid Holidays $1,000 Employee Referral Bonus Employee Wellness Program
