About The Position

Direct movement of rice in storage bins daily, clean bins daily, keep area clean daily, do preventive maintenance weekly. Work in cold and hot weather below 30 degrees and above 95 degrees. Will be exposed to outside weather and temperatures.

Requirements

• Needs ability to read a limited of two- or three-syllable words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and between a series of numbers.
• Ability to print and speak simple sentences.
• Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide by 10’s and 100’s.
• Ability to perform these operations using units of weight measurement, volume, and distance.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
• Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
• Ability to stand for more than one hour per occurrence, walk up to 600 feet per occurrence, use hands to finger or feel and talk or hear.
• They must be able to pick up 100-pound bags and move up to 20 feet.
• Vision abilities require the ability to see close distances (within vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to focus.
• The noise level in this area is usually loud.
