Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a program related to building information modeling, construction management, construction engineering, mechanical engineering, or architecture
• GPA of 2.5 or higher
• Strong interest in 3D technology
• Familiarity with CAD, BIM, GIS or point cloud
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn!

Responsibilities

• Assist with fieldwork using 3D laser scanners, LiDAR, drones, and related equipment
• Help set up equipment, targets, and control points at job sites
• Capture accurate scan data according to project requirements
• Transfer, organize, and manage large data files
• Registration of point cloud data
• 2D and 3D Drafting from LiDAR point clouds
• Assist with basic drafting/modeling tasks in CAD or BIM software (AutoCAD, Revit, etc.)
• Perform quality checks on data for accuracy and completeness
• Maintain equipment and ensure proper handling and storage
