Requirements

Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Proficiency with billing software, spreadsheets, and accounting platforms
Effective verbal and written communication abilities
Strong problem-solving aptitude and ability to resolve discrepancies independently
Comfort working in a fast-paced environment and managing multiple priorities
Professional, courteous, and collaborative attitude when interacting with clients and colleagues
Strong ethics regarding confidentiality and handling sensitive information
High school diploma or GED required; post-secondary education in accounting, finance, or business is a plus
1+ years of experience in billing, invoicing, accounts receivable, or similar financial role
Familiarity with the home services or technology industry preferred but not required

Responsibilities

Prepare and issue accurate customer invoices for electrical and home automation services
Verify billing data and resolve discrepancies to ensure timely and precise billing
Handle billing inquiries and communicate professionally with clients regarding account information
Record payments, adjustments, and process collections as needed
Collaborate with internal departments, such as Sales and Service, to reconcile accounts
Maintain up-to-date electronic billing records and documentation within company systems
Generate regular billing reports for management insight and auditing purposes
Ensure adherence to company policies, privacy regulations, and compliance standards
Identify opportunities to improve billing processes for enhanced accuracy and efficiency
Assist with additional finance-related duties and projects, as assigned by management
