This position supports the accurate preparation, delivery, processing and payment application of bills to customers. It provides excellent customer service and works with the team to maintain an updated and accurate billing system.

Requirements

  • Minimum one to two years professional accounts receivables or accounting experience
  • Ability to apply general mathematical concepts and to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest and percentages.
  • Ability to organize, manage and control workflow.
  • Demonstrated intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel; working knowledge of Microsoft Word, and Internet research.
  • Strong written, verbal and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail oriented.

Nice To Haves

  • Microsoft Dynamics knowledge a plus.
  • Additional related education and/or experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Prepares the monthly invoices; includes adjustments as appropriate, contact changes, manual billing updates (tokens, users, etc.), printing and mailing to the Customers
  • Prepares daily receivables deposits, applies the payments to the Customers’ accounts.
  • Researches and processes Customers questions regarding invoice payment, billing issues and/or discrepancies.
  • Processes changes in information system to support accurate and efficient billing process and financial close.
  • Performs collections on past due accounts receivables.
  • Processes customer refunds to be submitted to A/P.
  • Works with the Customer Implementations and Support department to resolve credit/billing issues and to establish new Customers.
  • Complies with all security policies and procedures, to ensure that the highest level of system and data confidentiality, integrity and availability is maintained.
