JOB SUMMARY: The Billing Specialist III serves as a primary contact/resource for all aspects of the revenue cycle, provides training to new employees and BestCare staff including “shoulder-to-shoulder” training, completes special project work and reporting as needed. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Serves as a subject-matter expert for the Billing staff to provide training and help resolve issues; Develops training documents and provides training to new BestCare staff; Serves as a primary contact and resource for all BestCare sites on all aspects of the revenue cycle, including coding, billing, and documentation best practices; Primarily responsibility to provide revenue-cycle reporting; Completes special projects as assigned; May be required to perform billing functions of other Billing staff, as needed; Other related duties as assigned.
