About The Position

Ensemble is a leading provider of technology-enabled revenue cycle management solutions for health systems, including hospitals and affiliated physician groups. They offer end-to-end revenue cycle solutions as well as a comprehensive suite of point solutions to clients across the country. Ensemble keeps communities healthy by keeping hospitals healthy. The Billing Services Manager supports the Director of Revenue Cycle by leading and developing the billing department team, overseeing daily workflow, and ensuring adherence to best practices and client benchmarks. This role manages hiring, onboarding, training, and performance of associates and supervisors, addresses billing issues, monitors key performance indicators, and implements process improvements. The Manager also conducts team huddles, ensures quality assurance, and updates policies and procedures to align with departmental goals and strategic objectives.

Requirements

  • 4 year/ Bachelors Degree
  • CRCR Required within 6 months of hire
  • Minimum of three-five years of management experience in healthcare industry
  • Must be inquisitive and demonstrate openness to innovation including AI to explore better processes and ways to alleviate friction and improve patient and client experiences
  • Excellent organizational skills, financial analysis, communication and problem solving
  • Willing and able to travel to and work onsite at client, temporary, or corporate office locations as business needs require

  • Report on Key Performance Indicators for the department and will be held to the standards identified as benchmarks for each client
  • Manage the daily workflow of the department, monitor progress to identify trending issues and develop training or processes to address these issues
  • Hold huddles to efficiently cover new or evolving training focuses to encourage and develop team members
  • Oversee progress on the floor and monitoring the worked accounts for quality assurance
  • Manage assigned associate's time management and approval of timecards for payroll processing
