About The Position

Generating, reviewing and transmitting claims for hospital-based services to third-party payors. Collaborating across Revenue Cycle departments to ensure billing edits and other up-front billing-related issues are resolved completely and efficiently. The Billing Representative reports to the Manager of Hospital Billing.

Requirements

• MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED: High School graduate or GED.
• MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: One (1) year of previous related healthcare Revenue Cycle experience, preferably with a focus in billing.
• MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW: None

Nice To Haves

• At least two (2) years of previous related healthcare Revenue Cycle experience, preferably with a focus in billing.
• Prior Epic experience preferred.
