For more information, please visit Ampersand at www.ampersand.tv WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING: This role will play a critical part in supporting Ampersand’s impression-based business, with a strong focus on Addressable and Political campaigns. Provide Finance and Operational support to the sales department by managing various invoice requirements, reconciliations, and day-to-day operational and financial aspects of business transactions. Business transactions include but not limited to: Invoice distribution, credit/collections, agency discrepancies, invoice resolution, memo bill/supplemental invoice creation, and vendor/publisher payout verifications.

Requirements

  • 2–3 years of experience in the digital advertising or digital media industry preferred.
  • Familiarity with digital reporting tools, dashboards, and online analytics platforms is strongly preferred.
  • Background in cable, media, or related industries is a plus.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, with advanced skills in Excel.
  • Experience working with automated billing, invoicing, and payment systems.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly across teams and partners.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain accuracy in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with high attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to work professionally, courteously, and efficiently with Sales teams, Publishers, Vendors, and internal teammates.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Billing Operations, Sales, Finance, and Agency partners to identify and resolve billing issues, ensuring accurate invoice distribution and timely payment processing.
  • Partner closely with Digital Operations to collect and communicate billing requirements for accounts with unique needs. Ensure accurate memo‑bill creation that aligns with auditing standards and supports full financial transparency. Generate supplemental invoices when needed and assist with resolving outstanding payables to publishing partners.
  • Review publisher pacing reports alongside End‑of‑Campaign documentation, comparing reporting data to impressions recorded in DataMax2. Identify and resolve discrepancies to maintain accurate billing and uphold financial integrity.
  • Investigate delivery data and accruals to detect and resolve inconsistencies that may affect vendor payables. Manage publisher and vendor relationships to ensure precise financial transactions. Provide Finance with campaign‑level billable verifications to support timely, accurate vendor payouts consistent with contract terms.
  • Work with Operations and Sales teams to resolve agency discrepancies, adjustments, and billing clarification needs.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for publishers regarding monthly revenue and billing verifications, and address inquiries related to publisher invoices.
  • Support management on additional projects and operational initiatives as assigned.
