About The Position

TNT is looking to add an experienced full time Billing Manager to our growing Southern District. Summary: The Billing Manager will be based out of South Austin and will be responsible for the the SASR, SA branch, Austin Branch, Corpus Christi, and Edinburg branches. They will be responsible for the coordination of approximately 300 plus invoices per month, create reports reflecting billing, auditing, and expenses data. Reports directly to the District Manager and oversees the daily activities of the billing clerks.

Requirements

  • 5 -10 years of billing/receivables experience with management experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree, prefer accounting or finance
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Ability to prioritize and manage time appropriately
  • Experience with a large customer base and high transaction volume
  • Ability to translate and analyze data into reports
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Basic understanding of collection practices and laws.
  • Excellent interpersonal and supervisory skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Prefer Solomon system experience; System conversion experience a plus

Responsibilities

  • Supervise billing staff
  • Establish new billing policies and procedures as needed
  • Monitors the billing metrics
  • Enter billable and non-billable expenses including adjustments
  • Lead team to improve billing, communicate issues, and implement ideas
  • Create and distribute operational and billing reports to management
  • Issue invoices and monthly statements to custom
  • Oversees the preparation of statements and bills.
  • Maintains and/or ensures maintenance of client records related to invoicing and bill payment.
  • Reviews work of billing staff to ensure accuracy, resolving inconsistencies as needed.
  • Creates and provides a prioritized list of clients to be invoiced to team members.
  • Ensures that all billing actions comply with company, customer, local, state, and federal guidelines.
  • Provides customer support to customers with disputes or inquiries concerning invoices or billing process.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
