About The Position

Position Summary: The Inventory Coordinator is responsible for the accurate and timely recording of assigned inventory through new vehicle delivery from manufacturers, used vehicle purchases, AAX and dealer trades that meet and exceed all Service Level Agreements. Organizational Relationships: Interacts with internal and external customers at various levels, various teams within the BOS, supervisors and management. Job Responsibilities: 1. Receive and verify new vehicle invoices/inventory 2. Receive and verify used vehicle purchase and AAX 3. Post both new and used vehicles to accounting 4. Posts dealer trades and used inventory submitted through BPMS and ECM. 5. Reviews exceptions in BPMS database for new/used inventory 6. Reviews and adjusts Lien Payoff, customer equity and all payables' schedules 7. Ensure all work is complete on deadline critical nights, payroll cut-off and month end 8. Follow-up on accounting inventory questions Other duties as requested by Supervisor / Manager Problem Solving: Can perform duties under direct supervision Qualifications: 1. A clear understanding of accounting principles and logic 2. Flexible work schedule to accommodate month-end deadlines 3. Produce high-quality and quantity of work while under deadline pressure 4. Must be highly organized; have excellent follow-up and prioritization abilities 5. Team player with superior customer service skills 6. Working knowledge of MS office software – MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS Word 7. Proficient in 10-key and typing skills 8. Working knowledge of CDK preferred, but not required 9. Automotive accounting experience preferred, but not required Next Possible Position: Inventory Specialist or cross functional position within the Business Operations Support Physical Requirements: This is largely a sedentary role with extended period looking at computer monitors.
