About The Position

BFC Solutions, the nation’s leader in HVAC preventative maintenance is growing again! We are hiring a Billing Specialist for our corporate office located in Nashville, TN. The Billing Specialist will serve as a key member of the finance team performing customer billing, customer credit and account collections duties. The position will be directly responsible for formulating and implementing best practices to ensure accuracy and timeliness in billing services to our customers, instilling a continuous improvement environment with strong accountability in reaching individual and departmental goals, and installing front end and back-end tools to minimize past due accounts receivables. The Billing Specialist will be working with other functions to ensure exceptional controls over processes that will strive to maximize the timing of cash flows. She/he will play an active role in certain banking activities, account recs and other month-end closing duties, sales tax controls, and other duties as required.

Responsibilities

Handles the onboarding of new customers for the billing process while ensuring completion in a timely and accurate manner.
Maictivity, develop/implement processes
Review and monitor AR Aging on a weekly basis, putting focus on past due accounts.
Handle cash applications, assisting with identification of unapplied payments, and targeting application of cash on customer accounts within 24 hours.
Establish and maintain positive interactions and strong communication with internal departments
Work closely with sales and customer support specialists to provide accurate pricing to the customers based on labor, materials, and local tax rates
