About The Position

We are looking for a Billing and Payment Services Analyst to join Element Fleet Management. As the Billing and Payment Services Analyst, reporting to the Supervisor, Billing and Payment Services, you will be responsible for driving operational excellence through data-driven analysis, stakeholder collaboration, and project coordination.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field, or 2–4 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong analytical background and experience in process documentation and reporting.
  • Proficiency in MS Office including Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong organization skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Customer-focused, results-oriented, and resourceful problem solver.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of applications such as Smartsheet and SharePoint.
  • Knowledge of SQL, Power BI, and automation technologies.
  • Knowledge of SAP S4/HANA.
  • Ability to influence others with diplomacy.

Responsibilities

  • Perform daily, weekly, and monthly billing audits to ensure the accuracy and integrity of data submitted to clients for maintenance billing.
  • Prepare, review, and distribute daily operational and financial reports, including system processing validation and error reports.
  • Conduct audits across multiple systems and processes to validate data for Internal Controls, Finance, and Operational areas.
  • Generate, analyze, and resolve error reports for rejected and aging transactional billing data from vendors.
  • Validate and review supplier files for accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
  • Participate as a key contributor in cross-functional initiatives and client inquiries related to Maintenance, Fuel, and Rental billing.
  • Identify system issues and submit IT incidents and PEERS to resolve.
  • Respond to general operational and billing inquiries from internal and external stakeholders.
  • Participate in assigned projects including analysis, testing, product and procedural development, and implementation.
  • Support internal and external audit requests including data gathering, validation, and follow-up actions.
