Location: Addison, TX (Near Beltline & Tollway) Industry: Medical Clinic, Healthcare, or Behavioral Health - highly preferred. Schedule: Full-Time | Monday-Friday | Onsite-role About Behavioral Innovations: For over 25 years, Behavioral Innovations (BI) has been transforming lives by providing compassionate, individualized, center-based Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy for children with autism ages 18 months to 10 years. With 100+ locations across TX, OK, CO, VA, and MD — and expansion into 4 additional states within the next 18 months — we’re experiencing significant growth and doubling in size. Your Role and What You'll Do: The Billing and Collections Supervisor within our Revenue Cycle Management department plays a critical role in overseeing the performance and daily workflows of the Private Pay Representative and Cash Posting team. This position ensures the accurate and timely posting of payments, effective resolution of patient balances, and adherence to compliance standards. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong technical knowledge in cash posting, patient payment collections, and revenue cycle operations who thrives in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment. This position will report to the Vice President of Revenue Cycle Management.

Requirements

  • Associate’s degree preferred; equivalent experience considered (7+ years in patient collections, cash posting, or related roles).
  • 3+ years of progressive experience in revenue cycle management or healthcare billing.
  • Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop team members.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally.
  • Proficiency in healthcare billing systems, EMRs, and Microsoft Excel.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in behavioral health or medical clinic settings preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and mentor the Private Pay Representative and Cash Posters to ensure accountability and performance excellence.
  • Oversee daily posting of third-party and patient payments with accuracy and timeliness.
  • Monitor and report on key metrics such as AR aging, posting turnaround times, and collection performance.
  • Identify and resolve payment discrepancies, refund requests, and posting errors.
  • Lead training, performance feedback, and professional development for team members.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including Billing, Finance, and Compliance, to improve workflow and accuracy.
  • Implement process improvements and automation to enhance efficiency and cash flow.
  • Maintain compliance with payer and regulatory requirements while ensuring patient data confidentiality.
