About The Position

This role is integral to the finance and accounting team, ensuring accurate revenue recognition and billing processes in alignment with US GAAP. You will manage complex customer transactions, process invoices, and analyze revenue data to support month-end and year-end financial reporting. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will resolve billing inquiries, identify process improvements, and ensure smooth financial operations. The position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Your work will directly contribute to financial accuracy, operational efficiency, and positive customer experiences. Effective communication and collaboration with internal stakeholders are key to success in this role.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of professional experience in a corporate finance or accounting environment.
  • Hands-on experience with transaction processing, billing, or general accounting.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams.
  • Experience using NetSuite and Salesforce for billing and transaction management.
  • Ability to process high volumes of transactions accurately and with attention to detail.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related discipline is preferred.
  • Knowledge of US GAAP and prior experience in customer service or a fast-paced technology company is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze contracts and set up customer billing accurately in the system, ensuring alignment with revenue recognition policies and US GAAP.
  • Process transactions for new contracts, amendments, terminations, and credit memos, meeting internal deadlines.
  • Manage monthly invoicing of variable revenue contracts and collaborate with internal teams to resolve discrepancies.
  • Investigate and resolve billing issues directly with customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Participate in month-end close procedures, preparing journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
  • Assist in quarterly and year-end reporting to support audits and ad hoc financial reporting as needed.
  • Identify opportunities to improve billing and revenue processes for efficiency and accuracy.
