About The Position

The Billing Administrative Assistant performs various administrative, reception, and clerical duties within the Medical Billing Department. This includes DME charge entry, assisting with payor scrub holds, and managing TOS deposit reconciliation. Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail is required to verify patient demographics, manage invoice files, and apply payments among other tasks.

Requirements

  • Minimum of two years’ clerical experience. Medical office experience is preferred but exceptions may be made.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, insurance, and billing practices.
  • Skilled in operating office equipment and computer applications.
