We are seeking a Part-time or Full-time, detail-oriented and compassionate ­­­­ Billing Administrative Assistant to join our team. This position plays a key role in managing revenue posting and collections for all residents accounts. This position requires an expert in determining the optimal combination of re-billing, collecting, and required payment follow up activities along with ensuring the workflow of the billing department runs smoothly. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in accounting or financial services—preferably in a healthcare or long-term care setting.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial recordkeeping.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word); Point Click Care, experience preferred.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of trust fund regulations is highly desirable.
  • Point Click Care, experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assist billing department in daily tasks: answering phone calls, process all mail, scanning documents and help with task as needed from other staff in dept.
  • Posting all payments from remittances, mail or ACH.
  • Collection calls and letters for past due balances.
  • Attends AR meetings
  • Troubleshoots and Assists with resident billing questions
  • Assists Controller in follow up to outstanding AR items by re-sending bills and notices
  • Maintains Resident Trust Accounts by filling out paperwork when residents make withdrawals or deposits
  • Assists in writing, maintaining and updating department procedures related to position
  • Cross-training as appropriate
  • Assists with Audit requests as needed
  • Answers inquiries regarding resident accounts.
  • Completes assignments as requested.
  • Adheres to all Christ the King Manor regulations, policies and procedures particularly those regarding safety and confidentiality.
  • Able to work in Office, no Remote or Hybrid
