About The Position
Blue Ridge Health is currently seeking a Biller to be part of our Patient Financial Services team in Hendersonville, NC. What You'll Do: The Biller will perform all duties necessary to file claims from across the company, monitor those claims, and collect on the claims with the appropriate insurer or party.
Requirements
- Familiarity with Medical Terminology and ICD-10 coding.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- At least 5 years’ experience in medical billing required
- Familiarity with utilizing Microsoft office products (i.e. word, excel)
- Familiarity with utilizing multi-line phone systems, copier, scanner, fax and other office equipment.
Nice To Haves
- CPC certification strongly preferred.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish strongly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Bill claims with the appropriate insurer.
- Monitor and correct unpaid claims.
- Post insurer payments in the E.H.R system.
- Post electronic payments for various Blue Ridge Health departments.
- Support other PFS areas and functions as needed.
