Commitment to producing high quality nutritious products and providing nourishment around the world The role Our team in Le Sueur, MN is seeking an Operations Bilingual Trainer / Translator to act as a liaison to our employees, ensuring a quality onboarding experience, continuous improvement throughout our facility, and contribute to building a sense of employee community and belonging. This position translates spoken and written instruction, or at times video content, for our Spanish speaking team members. The Operations Trainer/Translator works directly with our Human Capital and Operations teams. Starting Pay of $23.78 an hour 8-hour day shift, with some flexibility on schedule Double time on Sundays $1.50/hour night shift differential

Requirements

  • Ability to speak, read, and write fluently in both English and Spanish required.
  • Effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to management and coworkers.
  • High level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations and documentation.
  • Understanding of Quality Assurance and Safety standards in a manufacturing environment.
  • Exhibit a professional manner in dealing with others and work to maintain constructive working relationships.
  • Experience directly working within a Manufacturing environment.
  • Experience working within Microsoft Office Suite, including but not limited to Word, Excel, and PowerPoint programs.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience directly working within a Manufacturing environment.
  • Demonstrated experience working in a Trainer role, or taking on similar responsibilities in a prior role preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure onboarding experience is positive for new hires and track competency trainings.
  • Draft SOPs and job content as necessary to enhance work quality.
  • Assist Human Capital in conducting two-week new hire check-ins and capture data.
  • Facilitate orientation and onboarding process for Hispanic employees who do not speak English.
  • Translate Quality and Safety practices/methods to our Spanish speaking employees.
  • Translate for purposes of open enrollment, VIBE survey, company programs/initiatives.
  • Understand and adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices and Standard Operating Procedures, such as: Safety Protocols Stop any observed unsafe acts and obey facility safety rules and procedures. Correct or report any observed safety hazards. Support safety policies and programs.
