About The Position

The Store Manager serves as the face of ACE Cash Express to customers, providing customer service and facilitating sales. This role involves building professional relationships with customers and gaining in-depth knowledge of the company's lending (where applicable), check cashing, and card services. Store Managers are expected to understand customers' unique needs, recommend appropriate products, and support Sales Associates. They manage operations, drive overall store performance, which includes cash handling, check cashing, lending, bill pay, and card services, with a strong attention to detail. The position requires prioritizing accuracy, confidentiality, and strict compliance with industry regulations and safety guidelines. Store Managers should possess an entrepreneurial spirit, work independently, and embrace accountability for overall store performance, focusing on building trust through active listening, effective communication, and empathy.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to work 10-12 hours in a confined work area (contingent on state specific labor laws)

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingual – Spanish Preferred
  • Proficiency in Spanish
  • Two or more years of retail experience
