About The Position

2020 Companies is seeking a bilingual Energy Sales Specialist to represent and promote Reliant Energy services at retail locations, engaging with customers to drive new enrollments. The role involves helping customers find energy solutions and lower their energy costs in fast-paced retail, kiosk, and event environments. This position offers paid training, uncapped commissions, and clear paths for career growth within 2020 Companies, an outsourced Sales & Marketing agency for Fortune 200 companies.

Requirements

• Must be fluent in both English and Spanish (able to read, write, and speak Spanish)
• Strong experience in retail/event sales or event marketing
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work as part of a team and independently
• Comfortable with physical task such as lifting, setup and teardown of events
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to event locations
• Flexible availability needed, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Six (6) months prior sales, retail, telecom or marketing experience
• Demonstrated knowledge of products and services
• Impeccable integrity and commitment to customer satisfaction
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, team environment
• Ability to maintain customer confidentiality

• Help customers lower energy costs in your community
• Learn to identify needs and handle objections
• Build strong relationships with customers and teammates

• Meet or exceed personal sales goals on a monthly basis
• Courteously welcome customers and offer assistance
• Direct customers by escorting them to displays; assess needs and suggests products to fit those needs
• Advise customers by providing information on products and services
• Help customers make selections by building customer confidence
• Accurately document and report sales
• Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
• Accurately track and communicate all activity to Retail Operations
• Ensure work station/kiosk is clean, well-organized, functional and presentable at all times
• Submit all paperwork completely and accurately
