Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 5+ years of experience in residential mortgage banking, including processing and/or underwriting.
• Fluency in Spanish, with the ability to read, write, and speak the language proficiently.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to mentor junior staff and support team development.

Responsibilities

• Process complex residential mortgage loans, ensuring adherence to investor guidelines.
• Review and evaluate financial documents, determining debt-to-income and loan-to-value ratios.
• Serve as point of contact for customers, addressing inquiries and ensuring documentation completeness.
• Liaise between Loan Officers and Underwriters, tracking monthly closings.
• Provide timely coordination of redisclosures such as loan estimates.
