About The Position

We're looking for a talented Bilingual Payroll Specialist to join our team in Freemont! This is an onsite role where you will coordinate and process employee payroll for company employees. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate and timely payroll processing, be tech savvy with pertinent payroll programs and software, and enjoy working directly with employees! Fulltime, Internal Position: Payroll Specialist Location: Freemont, CA (onsite) Salary: $33.65/hr Hours: 10:00 AM - 6:30 PM, Mon-Fri

Requirements

  • Proven payroll/timekeeping experience in work history.
  • Strong knowledge of payroll systems, tax regulations, and CA wage and hour laws.
  • Proficient in Excel, especially with formulas and pivot tables.
  • Must be comfortable being employee facing.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience within the construction industry strongly preferred.
  • Timerack and Avionte experience a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Process payroll on a weekly basis.
  • Calculate wages, deductions, bonuses, and overtime based on employee records.
  • Ensure compliance with CA local, state, and federal tax regulations.
  • Handle employee payroll inquiries and resolve issues as they arise.
  • Maintain payroll records and reports for auditing purposes.
