About The Position
Grand Peaks Medical is looking for a dependable, bilingual Medical Assistant (English/Spanish) to join our Idaho Falls clinic. This full-time position is perfect for someone who enjoys working directly with patients, supporting providers, and being part of a collaborative care team. You’ll work closely with our providers and nursing staff to deliver high quality care to a diverse patient population.
Requirements
- Fluent in English and Spanish
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Medical Assistant training and hands-on experience
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
- Ability to stay organized and manage responsibilities effectively
- Successful completion of a criminal background check
Responsibilities
- Room patients, take vital signs, and document medical histories
- Assist providers during exams and procedures
- Administer injections and medications as directed
- Perform basic lab tests and specimen collection
- Prepare and maintain exam rooms and medical equipment
- Accurately document patient information in the medical record
- Communicate care instructions, follow-up information, and test results
- Support daily clinic operations and collaborate with the care team
