About The Position

Become a part of our caring community and help us put health first The Medical Assistant 3 is the first point of contact for patient care. Responsible for administrative duties in addition to patient care. The Medical Assistant 3 performs advanced administrative, operational, customer support duties that require independent initiative and judgment. As a Medical Assistant you will perform clinical duties such as: Perform pre-visit planning based on patient visit type Obtain and record medical history and vital signs Room patients and assist healthcare providers with medical procedures and treatments Perform specimen collection and point of care testing Prepare and administer medication under direction of healthcare provider Ensure accurate documentation in the electronic health record (HER) and electronic medical record (EMR) systems, including documentation of HEDIS and Stars quality measures This role is considered patient facing and is part of the company's Tuberculosis (TB) screening program. Requirements

• Certified or Registered
• Bilingual proficiency in English, Spanish
• Phlebotomy experience
• Medication/vaccine administration experience
• 1+ years MA experience
• CPR Certified

Nice To Haves

• 1+ years MA experience in PCO center
• Value Based Care experience including knowledge of HEDIS, CPT/ICD coding, and CAHPS/HOS Patient Experience
