Requirements

• Texas General Lines Property and Casualty Insurance License is required.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English is required.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2-5 years of experience in home/auto insurance sales is preferred.
• Some college or new graduate with BA/BS/BBA is a plus.
• Goal-oriented and self-starter with excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Effectively quote and close prospects searching for home, auto, and commercial insurance.
• Generate sales from agency-provided leads such as internet leads, warm transfers, mail, telephone, and networking.
• Maintain profound knowledge of new products and updates to existing product lines.
• Cross-sell to existing clients from our book of business.
• Conduct retention efforts with current renewal business.
• Follow up with leads to ensure conversion.
• Develop insurance quotes, make sales presentations, and close sales.
• Be a dependable team player.
