Bilingual Health Educator PRN (19 hrs./week) This position covers multiple counties including Erie, Jefferson, Forest, Clarion, Venango, Warren, Crawford, Merger, Lawrence, Butler Under the supervision of the Outreach Coordinator, the health educator is responsible for providing various health screening services, risk reduction counseling, and health education to migrant and seasonal farmworkers at their homes, farms, labor camps and other outreach settings. The health educator will work with the Regional Office Manager-Outreach Coordinator to refer and assist farmworkers in accessing medical and community resources to meet their health needs. Requirements

  • Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Current PA Driver’s license.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English and Spanish fluently.

Nice To Haves

  • Community health worker or medical assistant training is highly desired, but not required.
  • Good computer skills and experience with electronic health records are preferred.
