About The Position

The Bilingual Front Desk Receptionist is responsible for welcoming visitors and patients, managing appointments, and ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out process. This role is crucial for optimizing patient satisfaction and maintaining effective communication with medical staff and insurance companies.

Requirements

  • Bilingual in Spanish and English
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients, medical staff, insurance companies, and others as relates to the case
  • Caring demeanor towards patients and co-workers
  • Clinical knowledge and terminology
  • Ability to stand or sit for prolonged periods of time
  • Working knowledge of computers, fax, copiers, and other technology as needed
  • Strong administrative skills with attention to details and accuracy
  • Customer service experience (1 year preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Welcomes visitors and patients by greeting them, in person or on the telephone; answering or referring inquiries.
  • Optimizes patients' satisfaction, provider time, and treatment room utilization by checking patients in in a timely manner.
  • Maintains patient accounts by obtaining, recording, and updating personal and financial information.
  • Schedules patient appointments accordingly at the end of the patient visit.
  • Keeps open communication with the pre-cert team of orders for patients daily.
