Requirements

High school graduate or equivalent required.
Pleasant, professional, and articulate phone voice.
Ability to multi-task and handle many incoming calls or patients at once.
Efficient and accurate data-entry skills.
Computer literacy and multi-line phone or switchboard experience required.
Must be able to learn quickly if no experience.
Basic math, alphabetical or numerical filing knowledge may be required.

Nice To Haves

Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

Warmly answer and route incoming calls with professionalism.
Perform client intake and promptly notify the appropriate staff of arrivals.
Accurately enter patient information into our databases.
Assist with volunteer coordination and management, enhancing our community efforts.
Diligently follow appointment and cash handling procedures.
Maintain a tidy and welcoming clinic lobby, creating a positive first impression.
Process lab results as directed by the Practice Manager, ensuring timely communication.
Actively participate in the Performance Improvement Program, driving quality care.
Promote effective teamwork and collaboration within the team.
Apply a team-based approach within a primary care medical home context.
Attend required safety and annual education programs to stay informed.
Operate equipment and maintain work areas up to Legacy standards.
Follow exposure control plans and demonstrate proper body mechanics.
Perform additional duties as assigned to support clinic operations.
