About The Position

McCorvey Companies is a family-owned manufacturing and construction company supporting large-scale commercial and industrial projects, including hospitals, research labs, sports stadiums, schools, and other vertical markets. We are seeking a bilingual Safety Assistant to join our growing team. This role offers immediate start with long-term growth opportunities. Job Summary The Safety Assistant supports jobsite safety programs while assisting field leadership with daily operations. This position serves as a key point of contact for safety communication, helping to maintain a safe and compliant work environment.

Requirements

• Bilingual in English and Spanish (required)
• Must be local to the Houston area
• 2+ years of safety or construction-related experience preferred
• Willingness to travel to job sites preferred
• OSHA 510/500 acceptable; OSHA 510 preferred
• OSHA 30 preferred
• CPR & First Aid certification
• Must pass drug screen, background check, and physical
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Reliable transportation

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

• Support and promote company and site-specific safety programs
• Assist with safety orientations, audits, and inspections
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and company safety standards
• Communicate safety expectations with field personnel and leadership
• Assist with incident reporting and follow-up actions
• Serve as on-site safety support for assigned projects
