In preparation for the June 2, 2026, Statewide Direct Primary Election, the Department is seeking applications for two seasonal bilingual (English-Chinese) clerk positions in the Voter Outreach unit. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic and a high level of integrity, interacting well with community groups, outside agencies, and diverse populations, including residents experiencing homelessness, individuals involved with criminal justice, immigrants, and new citizens. The persons in these positions will be able to present information in both Chinese and English in a clear and engaging manner to a variety of audiences and to draft professional written correspondence. The ideal candidate will have community outreach experience, be familiar with San Francisco neighborhoods, and know how to use common computer programs such as Microsoft Suite and Adobe Acrobat.
