About The Position

The Dispatch Coordinator is tasked with coordinating and managing dispatch schedules, tracking orders, and serving as the primary point of contact for customers regarding deliveries. This role supports logistics operations by ensuring timely, efficient, and safe transportation of bulk cement, aggregate, and fly ash products.

Requirements

  • Fluency in both English and Spanish.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Ability to multitask and enter data into multiple platforms.
  • Comfortable taking high volume phone calls.
  • Professional written and verbal communication skills with phone etiquette.
  • Associate’s degree or equivalent dispatch experience required
  • Strong math skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and perform well under pressure.
  • Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 1–3 years of dispatch, logistics, or transportation coordination experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Schedule and monitor deliveries in alignment with customer orders and plant capacity.
  • Maintain accurate dispatch records.
  • Collaborate closely with carriers, internal teams, and customers.
  • Support inventory tracking and reporting needs.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction, operational efficiency, and safety compliance.
