About The Position

Wood Injury Law is expanding fast, and we’re looking for a Bilingual Director of Business Development to help us grow in the injury space in Albuquerque and throughout New Mexico. The Director of Business Development is responsible for building and nurturing business and client relationships. The Director of Business Development will work collaboratively and is responsible for managing and tracking marketing and business development efforts, outcomes, and opportunities. The Director of Business Development is a professional-level, full-time position. Hourly Pay: $30–$34 per hour (depending on experience) 401(k) Retirement Plan: Participate in the Firm’s 401(k) with a 3% match on contributions Health Insurance: The Firm covers a pre-selected base cost of the employee’s medical premium; employees are responsible for any dependent premiums Optional Insurance: Dental and vision insurance are available at your own cost Additional Benefits: After your first 60 days, you’ll have access to a wide range of optional benefits through our partnership with ADP, including: Short-term and long-term disability Life insurance Pet insurance And many other supplemental coverage options Paid Time Off & Holidays: 16 available PTO days per year, 6 paid holidays throughout the year, plus our traditional firm-wide holiday firm closure from Christmas Eve through New Year’s Day (Monday-Thursday are paid during this break)

Requirements

  • Fluent in Spanish and English
  • Confident, persuasive, and professional—can build trust quickly
  • Comfortable walking into businesses and selling yourself and the brand
  • Experienced in sales, account management, or referral development
  • Organized and goal-driven—you know how to hit KPIs and stay on task
  • Not afraid of travel (statewide as needed)

  • Preferably from the legal, medical, or insurance industries

Responsibilities

  • In-person meetings with chiropractors, medical clinics, body shops, tow yards, local businesses, and law offices
  • Pitching the brand and what sets our firm apart
  • Tracking leads, referrals, and partnership development using CRM tools like Lead Docket
  • Following up on referrals, ensuring a seamless process for partners
  • Supporting and creating community or marketing events
  • Expanding our partner network throughout Albuquerque and New Mexico
