Catholic Charities is seeking a Bilingual Clinical Therapist to provide outpatient mental health to children and adults in individual and group settings, in person or virtually. This contracted position will keep a minimum of 5 cases . Compensation is based on a 60/40 revenue split, with the contractor receiving 60% and Catholic Charities retaining 40%. JOB SUMMARY Under the supervision of the Director and Program Managers of Clinical Services provides counseling services to individuals, adolescents, and families according to evidence-informed best practices and within agency guidelines.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in social work or related field.
• License in Social Work or related field from the State of Tennessee (e.g., LCSW, LMSW, LMFT, LPC-MHSP).
• Bilingual English /Spanish (REQUIRED)
• Must have knowledge of human behavior and child development and the ability to use various methods and techniques of counseling with children, adults, couples and families.
• Must possess a current NPI or willing to obtain one.
• Willing to be credentialed and paneled for private insurance through Headway.
• Ability to handle confidential information with extreme professionalism.
• Effective interpersonal skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Good computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office products, with ability to learn new technology as needed.
• Ability to exercise good judgment, courtesy, and tact in dealing with the public and staff.
• Self-starter with ability to work independently.
• Satisfactory completion of a background and reference check.

Responsibilities

• Conduct individual, family, marital and group therapy counseling as directed by the client’s clinical needs.
• Ensure that referrals are made to appropriate internal and external services as required to meet the needs of the client.
• Respond to all referrals in a timely and professional manner.
• Some experience and understanding of trauma and Trauma Informed Care practices.
• Maintain accurate client documentation regarding services provided according to Agency guidelines, using the database(s) provided by the agency and within Agency time frame.
• Actively participate in team meetings, and training.
