About The Position

TECH Thunder Mountain Bike Park is hiring Bike Rental Techs for the 2026 Bike Park Season. The role involves basic bike maintenance, washing bikes and pads, and assisting customers with bike setups daily. Ideal candidates are eager to learn, possess prior interest and knowledge in mountain biking, and thrive in a fast-paced, enjoyable work environment. Weekend availability is a must, with a start date in Mid-May, and the position can accommodate weekend-only work until school concludes.

Requirements

• Skilled in providing outstanding customer service
• Experience with current mountain bike technology
• Able to multitask in a fast-paced work environment
• Mountain bike riding experience required
• Eager and willing to learn
• Previous interest and mountain bike knowledge
• Excited to work in a fast paced and fun environment
• Weekend availability is required

• Bike shop experience

Responsibilities

• Identify faults, damage, and wear on mountain bikes
• Wash and clean bikes
• Keep the workshop clean, maintain tools & equipment in good repair
• Test ride bikes to diagnose or to ensure they are functioning properly
• Inspect returning rental bikes before they return to bike rental fleet
• Perform basic bike maintenance
• Wash bikes and pads
• Get customers set up on their bikes each day
