About The Position
Thunder Mountain Bike Park is hiring Bike Rental Techs for the 2026 Bike Park Season. The role involves basic bike maintenance, washing bikes and pads, and assisting customers with bike setups daily. Ideal candidates are eager to learn, possess previous interest and knowledge in mountain biking, and thrive in a fast-paced, fun environment. While bike shop experience is a significant advantage, it is not mandatory. Weekend availability is required, with the start date in Mid-May, and the ability to accommodate weekend-only work until school concludes.

Responsibilities
- Basic bike maintenance
- Bike and pad washing
- Getting customers set up on their bikes each day
- Identify faults, damage, and wear on mountain bikes
- Wash and clean bikes
- Keep the workshop clean, maintain tools & equipment in good repair
- Test ride bikes to diagnose or to ensure they are functioning properly
- Inspect returning rental bikes before they return to bike rental fleet
