Requirements

Prior shift lead or supervisory experience.
Special project/Maintenance background, including fixing banners, pressure washers, and operating other machines.
Valid TN Driver's License.
Current certification in CPR.
High School Diploma.
Ability to traverse continuously during an eight-hour shift, with normal breaks.
Ability to work outdoors in all conditions with provided inclement weather gear.
Ability to lift 50 lbs or more when needed.
Ability to speak, read, and write the English language in order to create basic reports.
Basic knowledge of smart phone technology.
Proficient in computer usage and in Microsoft Office products.

Nice To Haves

Customer service and hospitality experience.
Experience in commercial cleaning.
Public space experience.
Bi-lingual in Spanish and English (read, write, and speak).
College education.

Responsibilities

Manage shift duties of the clean ambassadors while ensuring compliance with all Block by Block standards, best practices, procedures, and policies.
Hold the team responsible for completing projects and remaining productive.
Communicate and lead daily shift briefings, assigning duties and zones, and reviewing events, weather, and safety updates to Ambassadors.
Provide excellent customer service in the BID and towards the team of Ambassadors.
Provide guidance and direction for the on-street and in the field operations.
Provide written reports of broken infrastructure, graffiti on private property, and provide a basic daily report of accomplishments and tasks completed.
Provide direction and counsel to team members and report concerns to the Operations Manager.
Maintain a positive, professional environment in full compliance with applicable laws, regulations, policies, procedures, and overall Block by Block standards of expected professionalism.
