About The Position

CFS Brands is seeking a Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) Distribution Center Team Lead. Reporting to a Distribution Center Supervisor, the Distribution Center Team Lead will be responsible for leading a team of hourly associates and oversee day-to-day warehouse operations ensuring that all activities run smoothly and efficiently. This includes supervising and training a team of warehouse workers and coordinating with other departments to ensure that all operations are conducted within the accepted KPI’s.

Requirements

  • Ability to speak and write in Spanish and English is required
  • 3+ years of experience in logistics management required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and logistics software
  • Good management and organizational skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business administration, logistics, or related field preferred

Responsibilities

  • Coordinates logistics operations, both inbound and outbound, including inventory control, storage, and transportation, to ensure a sufficient supply of goods and products.
  • Controls the commercial impact of the full range of activities that are carried out, from the receipt, location, and delivery of products to the optimization of distribution operations.
  • Manages people processes and systems to meet the needs of the organization and our customers.
  • Meet or exceed service level metrics while driving continuous improvement.
  • Oversee the distribution operations of a warehouse, helping ensure that goods arrive at their destination on time and undamaged
  • Implementing distribution policies, conducting routine inspections, delegating tasks to staff, and overseeing shipment tracking
  • Organizing and managing inventory, storage, and transportation
  • Analyzing and optimizing logistical procedures
  • Reviewing, preparing, and routing purchase orders
  • Prepare accurate reports for upper management
  • Ensuring the safe and timely pick-up and delivery of shipments
  • Monitoring shipments, costs, timelines, and productivity
  • Maintain logs and records of warehouse stock and executed orders
  • Addressing and resolving shipment and inventory issues
  • Liaising and negotiating with suppliers and retailers, and responding to customer queries
  • Regular and punctual attendance, consistently adhere to the assigned work schedule
  • Comply with all company and safety requirements, policies, and procedures
  • Other duties as assigned
